Who needs a food manager certification?

Each Georgia food service establishment handling TCS (time/temperature control for safety) food must have at least one supervisor or manager who is an ANSI-accredited Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM), in place within 60 days of permit issuance, a change of ownership, or the loss of its previous CFPM. A Person in Charge must be present during all hours of operation but does not have to be a CFPM.
